|Submissions for 2014 Winter Internships Now Open!WOMYN’s WORD is a CHRY collective created by womyn-identified people, airing every Wednesday from 12pm-1pm. Our program critically explores the intersections of different womyn-identified people’s experiences and their social relationships with men and other allies. We critique the barriers that limit choice, and celebrate the struggles and achievements of all womyn-identified people. We strive to provide a safe space for womyn and their allies to share their experiences and opinions on the subjects that matter to them, without judgment.As an alternative radio program, Womyn’s Word works as a collective to share skills and tasks among ourselves. We are committed to challenging ourselves and analyzing our stories individually and at our monthly story meetings using a consensus-based decision making model. This internship requires 8 hours/week and is unpaid, but can be recognized as course credit or community work if appropriate.
