Feature Interview: Maggie Reid speaks with Adrienne Shnier, a PhD candidate at York University. She spoke to News Now about the controversial results of her study on conflict of interest policies or lack thereof in Canadian medical schools. When conflict of interest policies are absent from the education that trains our future doctors, the pharmaceutical industry’s influence on doctor’s prescribing habits can be detrimental to Canadian patients.
