York Connect: News Now contributor Michael Liew talks to Andrew and Constantine from Leave The Pack Behind (LTPB) at York University. LTPB is an organization that provides post-secondary students with support, education, and tips and tricks to help stop smoking.

Feature Interview: News Now contributor Matt Prok speaks with Heidi Illingworth, executive director of the Canadian Resource Centre for Victims of Crime. Illingworth sheds light on the lack of legislative support for victims of serious crime and how victims’ rights are being undermined in Canada. Could a Victims’ Bill of Rights help? Independent Arts and Culture: Laura Pereira, co-founder of Children of Light, explains to News Now’s Ayushi Sharman about the work her organization does of teaching english to children in Gambo, Ethiopia. Pereira talks about the education system in Gambo and how her volunteer-based group organizes to fill a requirement for english teachers there.
