Filmmaker Desiree Lim speaks with News Now Reporter Alicia Williams, about her career as a self-taught, narrative filmmaker. Desiree discusses her drive to create fictional films as a queer woman living in Japan in the mid-90s. Her current film, The House, is a semi-autobiographical depiction of “souls stuck in the journey” and will be screening at the Female Eye Festival.
