Last week’s episodes of the CHRY News Now Archives are now available. These episodes ran from June 20 – June 24, 2011.

On Monday, June 20, News Now ran its weekly series dealing with Environmental issuesThis week’s segment of EcoNews featured a “Ways of Eating” theme. A clip was played from the Cut The Fat Podcast, who interviewed Mark Sisson, author of “The Primal Blueprint”. Sisson is also the author of a title blog entitled Mark’s Daily Apple. News Now on Tuesday, June 21 featured two timely interviews.

On Wednesday, June 22, the first section of News Now featured an interview with Clayton Thomas. Thomas is the director, and assists in organizing the Keeping It Real Initiative, Breakfast, Health and Fitness Sports Academy that is running during the summer months. Listen to the clip below:

The second interview was with Toronto-based actor, Naggo Morris who is starring in I Need to Know My Father. Listen to the clip below:

News Now on Thursday, June 23 featured syndicated content of Terra Informa and Latin Waves. Both shows are Canadian produced at the community radio level.

On Friday, June 24, a special documentary by Henry Louis “Skip” Gates was aired over the radio. This interview uncovers the highs and lows of black culture in Latin American countries.
